Above there is heaven, below there are Suzhou and Hangzhou

Walking around the West Lake in Hangzhou 杭州 (China), between the Three Pools Mirroring the Moon Island and the Solitary Island. There are dozens of lakes called West Lake worldwide, but this name usually refers to the Hangzhou West Lake.

I found this text in one of the few written stones you can find there:

Morning mist hung over the waters, attractive lake and mountains. Once one reaches the enlightenment, merit will last forever. Ask two peaks, what make the six codes special? Only when one grasps the essence, can one enjoy a pastoral life.
